For more comprehensive protection, I recommend Deluxe, Premium, or Platinum-level plans, which typically include primary medical coverage, higher benefit limits, and stronger trip interruption protections. Cruise travelers should also add a cruise rider when applicable.
To qualify for the most robust benefits, including pre-existing medical condition coverage, travel protection should be purchased within 14 days of your initial trip deposit.
