Being guided to Regent, recommending our suite level, recommending we have a butler, and recommending we do the land portion before the cruise were all right on point for us and made the trip very enjoyable. Our cabin was exceptional — plenty of room, a bathroom with a luxurious shower, and a balcony that was great for whale watching. Every meal we had and every restaurant we went to was great. The vastness of Alaska, the train ride to Denali, Hubbard Glacier, and the sea plane excursion are the memories we mention most when telling friends about the trip. We loved it and are so happy we did it.

For this trip she booked us at this fabulous resort outside Panama City that was far enough away from the city lights/noise/traffic, yet close enough for a quick cab ride should we want to partake in the city excitement. We had an issue with our vendor for the Canal cruise and Valerie was quick to make contact with them to rectify the issue. Accuracy of information, knowledge of the industry, and responsiveness. With Valerie you get all three…and you get it consistently! She's quick…you won't be waiting around not knowing when (or if) she will get back to you. Valerie travels these same destinations and knows what she is talking about. She learns your tastes and will be able to steer you clear of things she knows you won't like. She will get you the best bang for your buck, where you may mistakenly book a substandard property…or even cruise ship…if you do it yourself. I definitely HIGHLY RECOMMEND Valerie!

Valerie helped me book a trip for my husband as a Christmas gift. She made sure that everything was taken care of along with recommending a hotel to stay close by the port. I've honestly never thought to use a travel agent, as I enjoy researching and booking my own travel. However, I decided to give Valerie a chance when an amazing opportunity on an Alaskan cruise came up pre-pandemic. Fast forward to the pandemic, I will continue use a travel agent to book a cruise. With policies ever changing, it's reassuring to know that someone is looking out for you. I occasionally have someone ask (even scoffingly) why I use a travel agent? After all, they proclaim, they can just book it themselves online or on the phone. Sure...you can, but why would you? Trust me, you'll appreciate your travel agent when they spend hours on the phone on your behalf rearranging travel arrangements or dealing with potential issues at properties you've rented while you're relaxing at the pool.
